Los gobernadores de Córdoba, Santa Cruz, Chubut, Santa Fe y Jujuy acordaron armar un frente electoral para las elecciones legislativas que se realizarán el 26 de octubre.
La alianza se da bajo el contexto de conflictos con el Gobierno Nacional por el proyecto para redistribuir fondos del impuesto a combustibles y de los Adelantos del Tesoro de la Nación (ATN).
La decisión fue tomada en la Casa de Chubut en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, donde el anfitrión Ignacio Torres (gobernador de Chubut) recibió a sus pares.
«Hay un grito federal que necesita voces en el Congreso. Como gobernadores, tenemos la enorme responsabilidad de defender los intereses de nuestras provincias y, al mismo tiempo, contribuir a la gobernabilidad de la Argentina», sostuvieron los gobernadores en un comunicado.
