El Estimador Mensual de Actividad Económica (EMAE) registrado por el INDEC reportó un leve crecimiento interanual del 0,2% en mayo de 2026. Sin embargo, en la medición desestacionalizada anotó un retroceso del 0,5% respecto a abril.

Ocho de los quince sectores del Estimador Mensual de Actividad Económica mostraron alzas. La agricultura fue la de mayor incidencia positiva con una suba del 4,6%. En contraste, la pesca cayó un 29,3%, la industria un 5,6% y el comercio un 4,3%.
Este desempeño heterogéneo se alinea con la recuperación proyectada para el PBI de Argentina. A su vez, los datos del EMAE acompañan los indicadores del superávit de la balanza comercial.
