La fintech argentina COCOS anunció la compra del 100% del Banco Voii en Argentina, con el objetivo de ampliar su oferta de productos financieros. Esta adquisición le permitirá ofrecer servicios como cuentas remuneradas, plazos fijos, cajas de ahorro y productos de crédito, todo de forma 100% digital.
El presidente y cofundador de COCOS, Nicolás Mindlin, destacó que el crecimiento de la empresa se ha logrado sin necesidad de capital externo, lo que refuerza la solidez de su modelo de negocio. La operación, que será cancelada en efectivo, está sujeta a la aprobación del Banco Central (BCRA).
Por su parte, Ariel Sbdar, CEO y cofundador, afirmó que esta compra fortalece la misión de COCOS de crear productos simples y transformadores, acercando las finanzas a más personas.
En lo que va del año, COCOS superó el millón de usuarios y administra más de US$ 700 millones en fondos comunes de inversión. También amplió su oferta con nuevas soluciones de pago, incluyendo el uso de Pix en Brasil y una tarjeta MasterCard internacional que permite pagar sin impuestos en dólares.
