El ministro de Economía, Luis Caputo, informó que el Sector Público Nacional (SPN) en octubre registró un superávit primario de $823.925 millones y un superávit financiero de $517.672 millones.
En el acumulado de los primeros diez meses del año, el SPN obtuvo un superávit primario de aproximadamente 1,4% del PIB y un superávit financiero de aproximadamente 0,5% del PIB.
«La consecución del superávit se da en un marco de reducción del gasto primario de 1,3% en términos reales frente a octubre de 2024. Se destaca que el orden fiscal y monetario ha sido clave para limitar el impacto sobre la población de la caída en la demanda de dinero generada por la volatilidad política y los intentos de parte de la oposición en el Congreso de romper el equilibrio fiscal», indicó el comunicado de Caputo.
A nivel desagregado, los gastos en jubilaciones y pensiones contributivas crecieron 8,1% interanual (i.a.), y la Asignación Universal para Protección Social creció 6,8% i.a. Por el lado de los ingresos, la comparación interanual se vio impactada por la vigencia en octubre de 2024 del impuesto PAIS y los ingresos generados por la exteriorización de activos y el Régimen Especial de Ingreso del Impuesto sobre los Bienes Personales (REIBP).
