La Secretaría de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca indicó que Argentina ejecutó el total de la cuota Hilton a la Unión Europea con 29.350,4 toneladas exportadas para el ciclo 2024/2025, que finalizó el 30 de junio pasado. El monto total habilitado para la UE es de 29.389 toneladas.
Si se suman las toneladas exportadas al Reino Unido el total asciende a 29.461,4 de una cuota original de 29.500 toneladas, dividida tras el proceso del Brexit.
Los principales destinos de la carne argentina continúan siendo Alemania y Países Bajos, seguidos por Italia, España, Grecia y Portugal.
Por otro lado, ya se distribuyó también el cupo arancelario para el ciclo comercial 2025/2026, que comenzó a operar a partir del 1 de julio. En total 69 empresas resultaron beneficiarias, entre establecimientos frigoríficos y grupos de productores exportadores, sumando a 7 nuevos participantes para este período.
A la fecha, Argentina ya ejecutó un 8,5% del total de dicha cuota, con precios promedios que continúan en torno a los 18.000 USD/t.
