La calificadora Fitch Ratings mejoró la calificación de los bancos argentinos Santander, BBVA, Supervielle y Macro, tras la reciente subida de la calificación soberana de Argentina de ‘CCC’ a ‘CCC+’.
Los bancos Santander Argentina S.A. y Banco BBVA Argentina S.A., elevaron sus calificaciones de emisor en moneda extranjera y local a «B-«, impulsadas por una mejor expectativa de apoyo de sus matrices y un entorno operativo más favorable. Las calificaciones de viabilidad también fueron mejoradas a ‘CCC+’ y se asignó una nueva calificación de apoyo de accionistas de ‘B-‘.

En cambio, una mejora en la calificación soberana podría impulsar nuevas subidas. Además, se mantuvo la evaluación negativa en temas ESG, especialmente por la fuerte intervención estatal en el sistema bancario argentino.
