El secretario del Tesoro de Estados Unidos, Scott Bessent, confirmó que la entidad compró pesos argentinos tanto en el mercado de «Blue Chip Swap» como en el mercado al contado (spot markets).
Bessent afirmó que el Tesoro se mantiene en estrecha comunicación con el equipo económico argentino, cuyo objetivo es «volver a ser grande» (Make Argentina Great Again).
«El Tesoro está monitoreando todos los mercados y tenemos la capacidad de actuar con flexibilidad y contundencia para estabilizar a Argentina», concluyó.
