Porto Alegre, march 9th 2026 – Conilon coffee type 7/8 in Espírito Santo fell to R$ 1,000, accumulating a 20% drop in the month. In Rondônia, conilon 450 defects is already indicated at R$ 950 per bag. The domestic industry remains defensive, buying only to maintain safety stocks, monitoring arabica weakness and waiting for the arrival of the new crop. External demand also remains distant, focused on the entry of the Vietnam crop.
The logistics situation in the Red Sea, if it remains adverse, can influence the London terminal and increase demand for other suppliers, such as Brazilian conilon. This can open a relevant window for the outflow of large stocks still in producers’ hands. Sellers should stay attentive.
