Porto Alegre, May 20th, 2025 – The Brazilian soybean harvest is practically complete. According to the latest survey by Safras & Mercado, work has reached 99.7%, with the states of the Northeast and South exceeding 99%, with only small areas remaining to be reaped.

Average yields, in general, remained excellent in most of Brazil’s producing regions. The main exception is the state of Rio Grande do Sul, where productivity was estimated at 39 bags per hectare due to the decline in production caused by adverse weather conditions observed over the season.

In general, the Brazilian output remains estimated at 172.4 mln tons—a record and significant volume compared to the previous season. The area planted in the current season was 47.4 mln hectares, confirming the greatness of the national crop.
