The coffee harvest in Brazil is coming to an end. Last week\u2019s rain somewhat disrupted the progress of the arabica coffee harvest, especially in the south of Minas Gerais. However, the forecast is for dry weather until the end of August, with temperatures starting to rise and highs exceeding 30\u00b0C. This is a picture that jeopardizes the early blossoming and brings back the moisture issue, but benefits the coffee harvest and drying in this final stretch of Brazil\u2019s 2022 crop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The SAFRAS monitoring indicates that until August 23, Brazil reaped 95% of the 22\/23 coffee crop, which corresponds to an advance of only 3% over the week earlier. Work is slightly lower than the same time last year and the five-year average for the period, both of around 96% of the total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
