Porto Alegre, December 13, 2021 \u2013 Soybean commercialization in Brazil had another period of slow evolution from November through the first week of December. With little interest amid buyers and sellers, few deals were registered in the period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a survey carried out by SAFRAS & Mercado, with data collected up to December 10, 93.6% of the current Brazilian soybean crop (2020\/21) have already been sold, an increase of 1.6% compared to the percentage for the month previous (92%). The current percentage is equivalent to approximately 128.536 mln tons already traded from a crop estimated at 137.304 mln tons. In the same period of the previous year, the percentage was 98.9%, while the five-year average for the period is 96.6%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the new Brazilian soybean crop (2021\/22), the percentage sold reached 32.5%, an increase of 1.9% compared to the previous month (30.6%). The percentage is equivalent to approximately 46.954 mln tons of a harvest initially estimated at 144.712 mln tons. In the same period of the previous year, the committed percentage reached 56.5%, while the five-year average is 36.7%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
