Besides the gains on ICE US and the high dollar, the physical market also found support in the positive detachment of the physical from the external benchmark. The defensive stance of sellers, reinforced by the advance of the off-season and lower availability in the current season, guarantees additional support to the internal physical market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sales continue at a very slow pace. Good cup is pegged at BRL 1,250 a bag in the south of Minas Gerais. Fine cup from Cerrado reaches BRL 1,270 a bag, going up to BRL 1,320 for extra fine and certified batches. Rio cup from Matas de Minas is around BRL 1,100 a bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The domestic industry remains aggressive and guarantees support for conillon prices, which once again tested new nominal highs in the physicals.
