Only the state of <\/a>Rio Grande do Sul continues to work behind the normal average, which also keeps the national average delayed. The moisture registered in the state of Rio Grande do Sul prevented a better advance of agricultural machines in the first week of May. Anyway, there are few areas left to be reaped in the South, North and Northeast. Average productivity is good in most states, which guarantees a new record production in Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; According to a survey conducted by SAFRAS &amp; Mercado, until May 7, 96.7% of a total sown area of 38.65 million hectares were reaped, equivalent to approximately 3.39 million hectares. In the previous week, the percentage was 95.1%. In the same period last year, 98.7% of the area had already been reaped, while the five-year average for the period is 98.1%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In Rio Grande do Sul, out of a total sown area of 6.08 million hectares, 89% were reaped, or approximately 5.41 million hectares. In the previous week, the percentage was 81%. In the same period of the previous year, 99% had already been reaped, while the five-year average for the period is 96.8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In Paran\u00e1, out of a total area of 5.6 million hectares sown, 100% were reaped. In the previous week, the percentage was 100%. In the same period last year, 100% were already reaped, while the five-year average for the period is 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In Mato Grosso, out of a total sown area of 10.3 million hectares, 100% were reaped. In the previous week, the percentage was 100%. In the same period last year, 100% had already been reaped. The five-year average for the period is 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In Mato Grosso do Sul, from a total sown area of 3.25 million hectares, 100% were reaped. In the previous week, the percentage was 100%. In the same period of the previous year, 100% had already been reaped, while the five-year average for the period is 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In Goi\u00e1s, out of a total sown area of 3.795 million hectares, 100% were reaped. In the previous week, the percentage was 100%. In the same period last year, 100% had already been reaped. The five-year average for the period is 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In S\u00e3o Paulo, out of a total sown area of 1.16 million hectares, 100% were reaped. In the previous week, the percentage was 99%. In the same period of the previous year, 100% had already been reaped, while the five-year average for the period is 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In Minas Gerais, out of a total area estimated at 1.82 million hectares, 100% were reaped. In the previous week, the percentage was 100%. In the same period of the previous year, the percentage reaped reached 100%. The five-year average for the period is 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In Bahia, out of a total sown area of 1.7 million hectares, 98% were reaped, or approximately 1.67 million hectares. In the previous week, the percentage was 95%. In the same period last year, 98% had already been reaped.
