The percentage is\nequivalent to approximately 35.91 million hectares, out of a total of 38.415\nmillion hectares estimated for planting in the country. In the previous week,\nthe index was 88.9%. In the same period of the previous year, the percentage\nreached 94.2%, while the five-year average for the period is 94.3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In\nRio Grande do Sul, out of a total area estimated at 6.08 million hectares, 81%\nwere sown, or roughly 4.93 million hectares. In the previous week, the index was\n62%, while in the same period last year it reached 91%. The five-year average\nfor this time of year is 89.4%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In\nParan\u00e1, 100% of the area destined for soybeans have been sown, or approximately\n5.6 million hectares. In the previous week, the index was 100%. In the same\nperiod last year, the percentage reached 100%, while the five-year average is\n99.4% for the period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In\nMato Grosso, out of a total expected area of \u200b\u200b10.3\nmillion hectares, 100% have been sown. In the previous week, the index was\n100%. In the same period of the previous year, the percentage was 100%. The five-year\naverage for the period is 99.6%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In\nMato Grosso do Sul, out of a total area estimated at 3.25 million hectares,\n100% were sown. In the previous week, the index was 100%. In the same period\nlast year, the percentage was 100%, while the five-year average for the period\nis 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In\nGoi\u00e1s, out of a total expected area of \u200b\u200b3.795\nmillion hectares, 97% were sown, or nearly 3.68 million hectares. In the\nprevious week, the index was 94%, while in the same period last year the\npercentage was 99%. The five-year average for the period is 99%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In S\u00e3o Paulo, out of a total area estimated\nat 1.08 million hectares, 99% were sown, or approximately 1.07 million\nhectares. In the previous week, the index was 95%, while in the same period of\nthe previous year the percentage was 99%. The five-year average for the period\nis 99.2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In\nMinas Gerais, out of a total area estimated at 1.82 million hectares, 99% were\nsown, or roughly 1.8 million hectares. In the previous week, the index was 95%.\nIn the same period last year, the percentage was 99%, while the five-year\naverage for the period is 97.4%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In\nBahia, out of a total area estimated at 1.67 million hectares, 99% were sown,\nor around 1.65 million hectares. In the previous week, the index was 90%, while\nin the same period last year the percentage was 90%. The five-year average for\nthe period is 89.4%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In\nSanta Catarina, the planting is 95% complete of an expected total area of \u200b\u200b750 thousand hectares, which is equivalent to approximately 713 thousand\nhectares. In the previous week, the index was 85%. In the same period of the\nprevious year, the percentage was 99%, while the average for the period is\n98.2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Weather\nforecasts point to reasonable moisture in most of the South and Southeast\nregions in the period between December 11 and 17. The other areas of these\nregions, as well as the entire Midwest, must also receive moisture, but at\nlower levels. The North and Northeast regions must receive little or no moisture\nin the period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In\nthe period between December 18 and 24, the rain must affect practically the\nwhole country, albeit in not very high volumes in most states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Copyright 2020 &#8211;
