Moisture and cold did not hinder the progress of the coffee harvest in Brazil last week. According to the weekly monitoring by SAFRAS & Mercado, as of June 25, 51% of the 2025/26 crop had already been reaped, which represents an increase of 8% over the previous week. The pace is slightly above that registered in the same period last year (50%) and above the five-year average (2020–2025), which is 46% for this time of year.
The harvest of canephora (conillon/robusta) is 65% complete. Work continued at a good pace last week, favored by weather conditions. Despite the good recent performance, the volume reaped is still below that registered in the same period last year (68%) but already exceeds the five-year average, which is 64%.
The highlight of the last week was arabica, whose harvest continues at an accelerated pace, mainly in the south and Cerrado regions of Minas Gerais, besides the state of São Paulo. 42% of the total production has already been reaped, up 8% from the previous week. The pace is in line with that observed in the same period in 2024 and remains above the five-year average, which is 36% for this time of year. Overall, the harvest profile remains positive compared to last year.
